ACE Strategic Partnership with the EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW)

08.03.2019

On the occasion of the 2019 edition of the European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW), ACE is teaming up with the EUSEW organiser to promote the activities organised throughout the Week and put the spotlight on architectural solutions to reach a low-carbon, performant, productive and healthy building stock.

The European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) is a month-long series of activities that brings together public authorities, private companies, NGOs and consumers to promote initiatives to save energy and move towards clean, secure and efficient energies.

The 2019 edition, taking place from 17 to 21 June 2019, will include:

  • A series of Policy Conferences on renewables and efficient energy use in Europe, from 18 to 20 June in Brussels;
  • Energy Days: activities and events that promote clean energy transition organised by local public and private organisations in different places in Europe and taking place throughout the months of May and June. The Energy Days map on the EUSEW Website shows all activities taking place near you;
  • The EU Sustainable Energy Awards, that recognise outstanding innovation in energy efficiency and renewables. With prizes awarded by an expert jury and European citizens, the Awards competition highlights new ways to shape Europe’s energy future.

This year, the ACE will organise an Energy Day on Tuesday 18 June (from 11h00 to 13h00) with the support of Creative Europe. The session will bring together architects who have tested Level(s), the new EU Commission tool to facilitate the reporting on the environmental performance of buildings. On the same day, the ACE will also co-organise other Energy Days aiming to present the outcomes of several research EU-funded projects. More information will follow soon.
