  • ACE Walk and talk

2022 EUSEW Energy Day! ACE Walk & Talk: Making Sustainable Architecture Work - 29/09
On Thursday 29 September (afternoon), as part of the EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW), the Architects’ Council of Europe is organising a « Walk & Talk » event, which will consist of:
- a GUIDED TOUR around the site of Tour & Taxis (Brussels),
- a POLICY DEBATE, which will bring together representatives from various EU Commission’s Directorate-Generals, for a conversation on the legislative and policy levers for greater quality in the built environment. It will notably be an opportunity to discuss the ongoing recast of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) – certainly the most critical EU piece of legislation that will set the pace of decarbonisation of the EU building stock for the next decade. • Follow the Sustainable Places Conference, 7-9 September 2022

The Sustainable Places conference series is the place to be in order to find out which projects are being funded by the European Commission and how these help us to tackle sustainability and climate change targets in the built environment. This year, four projects which the ACE is involved will be present: BIM-SPEED, Drive 0, ARISE and BUSGoCircular.
On 7 September, BIM-SPEED will present the final project results on a "Harmonised Building Information Speedway for Energy-Efficient Renovation".
On 8 September, Drive 0 will take part in the ‘Off-Site Plug-and-Play Prefab Systems’ session with a focus on how to engage the consumers in the decarbonisation of EU building stock.
On 9 September, ARISE and BUSGoCircular will participate in a workshop about Energy Skills 3.0.

  • ARISE and BUSGoCircular in the European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW 2022) extended programme

ACE is proud to have been invited by the European Commission to the Extended programme of EUSEW 2022 with two of its projects. On 21 September 2022 from 12:00 to 13:30 (CET), ARISE and BUSGoCircular will debate the "Digitalisation of construction as a necessary step towards a clean energy transition" in the panel discussion about "Leveraging digitalisation and construction skills towards 2030 energy goals" together with nine other European-funded projects.
