Title: Assistant Project Officer
Type of contract: Short term contract (full-time)
Duration: 6 months, to start as soon as possible
Objective: Support activities of the European Funded projects in which ACE is a partner.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to the project deliverables (dissemination and communication strategy, exploitation plan) and reports (technical reports, financial reports) under the supervision of the project officers.
Follow up and report training, dissemination and communication activities performed by ACE and by the project partners.
Prepare content for project newsletter (Mailchimp) and social media (Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, Instagram).
Organise project events of different types (conferences, trainings, webinars) and formats (online, physical, hybrid).
Desk research and preparation of training material to support project activities.
Attending project meetings and events and reporting to the ACE project officer.
Desired profile:
Degree in communication, EU studies, project management or other related background.
At least 1 year of working experience in communication and/or research activities.
Experience in working with European funded projects
Knowledge of EU affairs and sustainability topics in the architecture and construction sector is an asset.
Experience in Mailchimp, Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, Express), Office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Wordpress, collaborative working tools (Googlemeet, Zoom, Teams, Sharepoint, Dropbox, Google Drive).
Excellent written and spoken English. Other European languages are an asset.
Team player, ability to work collaboratively, proactive and adaptive.
Attention to details, well organised, and able to meet deadlines.
Experience in preparing publications, and other communication materials.
Availability to occasional travel within EU
Conditions:
Limited contract duration of 6 months, with a view to extending;
Gross salary 3.500 euros/month, extralegal advantages
Starting date: 6 November 2023
Place of work: ACE office, Brussels, Belgium;
Working hours: 38hrs/week
Working language: English;
