The ACE Climate Change exhibition continues its tour arounds Europe!

Architecture is a powerful source of solutions to challenges posed by climate change, in the medium-term and at low-cost. As demonstrated by the 20 projects featured in the ACE exhibition, it is possible to design urban spaces that are capable of dealing with extreme weather conditions, while at the same time adding new qualities to the urban space; and to design low-carbon buildings while increasing occupants’ comfort and well-being.

The architectural approach seeks to take into consideration economic, social, environmental, political and cultural factors relating to the design of low-carbon, energy efficient, resilient, healthy and inclusive built environments.  In doing so, Architecture generates value for people at many levels – social, environmental and financial – in every project, large or small.

With the support of the European Union's Creative Europe programme and Lithuanian Architects' Union, the Architects' Council of Europe organised an exhibition in Kaunas with 20 European architectural projects remarkable by their responsible and innovative ways of planning and  building. Since it opened in spring, between 5,000 and 6,000 people have visited the exhibition.

If you are in Lithuania, don't miss the ACE Climate Change exhibition. The exhibition will be open until 3 July from 12:00 to 19:00 at the Kaunas Central Post Office.
